FULL COUPLING FORGED SOCKET WELD 1 A182 Gr. SS316L, SW x SW, CLASS 3000 TNF
316/316L Forged Stainless Steel Pipe Fitting, Reducing Coupling, Socket Weld, Class 3000, Female X Female Key Features Reducing coupling pipe fitting for extending and connecting pipes of different sizes Socket weld connections to allow for a smooth bore and better fluid flow Made from stainless steel 316/316L for corrosion resistance Class 3000 for use in high pressure applications Forged for durability Product Description This reducing coupling is a class 3000 forged stainless steel 316/316L pipe fitting with two female socket weld ends for connecting and extending two sizes of pipe going in the same direction. The coupling has internal recesses on the inside diameters to allow for a smooth bore and better fluid flow between pipes. The class 3000 fitting is made from stainless steel 316/316L for corrosion resistance and has been forged for durability. Class is a standard relating to tolerance, construction, dimension, and wall thickness, but it is not a direct measurement of maximum working pressure. This fitting meets standards ASTM A182, ASME SA182, and ANSI B16.11 for quality assurance. Pipe fittings are components used for connecting, terminating, controlling flow, and changing the direction of piping in many different industries. When purchasing pipe fittings, consider the application, as this will affect material type, shape, size and required durability. Fittings are available threaded or unthreaded, in many shapes, styles, sizes, and schedules (pipe wall thickness).
